Who We Are
Onward!
Independently, we bring varied backgrounds with diverse expertise. Collectively, we are committed to discovering novel, alteration-specific therapies. Alterome is dedicated to relentlessly pushing the boundaries of cancer treatments to transform the lives of patients.
Founding Story
Brought Together for Patients
In January 2022, on the heels of a $64 million Series A funding, CEO Eric Murphy, called upon trusted colleagues who shared his commitment to developing life-changing therapies for patients with cancer, to solve cancer’s most difficult challenges. A team of experienced leaders in precision oncology drug development with a history of delivering marketed oncology small molecule drugs to patients answered the call and joined our Movement.

Building Community
At Alterome, we are committed to giving back to our San Diego community. We are a proud Corporate Sponsor of Life Science Cares (LSC) San Diego, an organization that raises funds and coordinates partnerships to help organizations battle homelessness, hunger, poverty, and other social ailments. Through our partnership with LSC, Alterome employees strive to make a positive impact on our community, whether packing up boxes of fresh, healthy meals for food-insecure families, assembling back-to-school backpacks for students affected by homelessness, or building bikes to share the feelings of joy and freedom of a bike with underprivileged kids. We will continue our commitment to building strength and belonging within our community. “Alone we can do so little; Together, we can do so much.” Helen Keller
